One day I found these strange little things in a bin in the “bucket” section of Austin Creative Reuse. At first look I could not figure out what the hell this thing was, but immediately they said to me “this is a little human figurine”. I bought a few and experimented with them (none were harmed in the process – at least no more than necessary). The next time I was there, I bought all of them and went to work. (Later, I found out they were retired electric fence cable holders)
I proceeded to make all kinds of little kind of human type figures from them. Most are standalone but for some I built a setting for them to occupy. I also like to use them for humorous purposes – mainly bad puns and groaner jokes.
